BG SERVICES
Why does a battery need to be serviced?
Battery Corrosive liquids or gases from car batteries often lead to corrosion of battery terminals and cables. The white, green, or blue corrosive deposits found on automotive battery posts are the primary cause of decreased battery life and performance.
Corrosion creates a conduit for power to drain from the battery continuously, even when the vehicle is not running. Which may cause, slow engine cranking, Erratic function of electrical components, and dashboard warning lights!
The BG Battery Service removes all corrosion and insulates the charge of battery posts from the battery case to inhibit corrosive buildup. The best way to prevent battery problems is with annual preventive maintenance.
How We Perform The BG Battery Service
First, BG Battery Cleaner & Leak Detector is used to remove buildup from battery terminals, cables, and carriers. BG Battery Terminal Protectors are installed onto the posts. Then, BG Ignition & Battery Terminal Sealer is applied to the clean components.
How It Benefits YOU
- Provides longer battery life
- Restores electrical component performance
- Prevents battery drain due to corrosion
- Reduces harmful emissions
- Provides peace of mind
Why DoesThe Brake Fluid Need To Be Serviced
In just 30,000 miles, brake fluid can break down and become contaminated with corrosion and water condensation. These conditions can cause a spongy brake pedal, corrosion of brake components, and gradual loss of brake function.
Brake system failure is not only expensive to repair, but it is also extremely dangerous while driving. The ability to stop a vehicle predictably and quickly is vital to your safety.
How We Perform The BG Brake Fluid Service
During your brake fluid flush, old, contaminated brake fluid is removed and new, high-quality BG brake fluid is added to the system, preventing corrosion and maximizing brake system performance.
When should you get a brake fluid flush?
- Dark or contaminated brake fluid
- Positive copper test strips
- Every 2–3 years depending on type of driving and braking

Why service a cooling system?
When coolant degrades, the additives that inhibit corrosion in the cooling system begin to deplete. Once those additives are exhausted, the coolant becomes acidic and starts to corrode system components, such as the water pump, radiator, and thermostat.
Even the slightest buildup of these materials on heat transfer surfaces prevents proper circulation, drastically affecting the engine’s ability to shed heat. Results can include water pump failure, blown head gaskets, and warped heads.
How We Perform The BG Cooling System Service
We use our specialized cooling system flush machine along with BG products — including BG System Cleaner, which removes rust, mineral deposits, and other residues that accumulate in the system.
Worn out and contaminated coolant is then exchanged with fresh coolant and BG Conditioner, to protect the cooling system from corrosion, foaming, and acidic contamination.
When should you get a BG Cooling System Service?
- Coolant is contaminated, low, or more than 5 years old
- At 30,000-mile intervals

- Protects engine with longer coolant life
- Prevents unplanned and costly repairs
- Reduces chance of overheating
- Includes Lifetime BG Protection Plan® coverage
Why Drivelines Need to Be Serviced
The complex gears in the differential of a vehicle operate under extreme pressure and heat. These conditions can break down gear lubricant, which leads to sludge buildup and metal debris.
The best way to prevent potential driveline problems is to remove sludge and debris with a fluid exchange.
How We Perform The BG Driveline Service
We use our specialized driveline flush machine to access driveline components, including rear differentials, front differentials, manual transmissions, and transfer cases. This tool allows for a quick and efficient fluid exchange inside these components.
For manual transmissions, transaxles, and transfer cases, use BG Syncro Shift II. For differentials, use BG Ultra Guard Limited Slip Heavy Duty or BG Ultra Guard Limited Slip Synthetic Gear Lubricant.
When should you get a BG Driveline Service?
- Dark, dirty, or burnt gear lubricant
- OEM-required service interval
- Vehicles that tow, haul, or perform other severe use
- Abnormal vehicle vibration when driving
- Noises, such as whining or howling, especially when turning or increasing speed
- Paired with a BG Transmission Service—if the transmission is moving, the driveline is moving
How it benefits YOU
- Provides smoother driving
- Protects driveline components
- Prevents costly driveline repairs
- Provides peace of mind
- Backed by Lifetime BG Protection Plan®
Why You Need a BG Engine Performance Service
Today’s engine technology produces hotter combustion temperatures, higher cylinder pressures, less ring tension, and tighter tolerances than we have ever seen. These conditions, combined with prolonged drain intervals, contribute to oil thickening and deposit formation.
The BG Engine Performance Service is our top-of-the-line engine service—a three-part deep cleaning of the vital components in the engine. It dissolves deposits, prevents sludge buildup, and restores fuel economy.
How We Perform The BG Engine Performance Service
We add BG Platinum® 44K® into the fuel tank. Then, add BG EPR® to the crankcase with the existing worn-out oil, and start the engine. Allow the engine to idle for the specified time. Drain the old oil and change the oil filter as normal. Fill the crankcase with the specified amount and viscosity of fresh oil, leaving room in the crankcase for the addition of BG Advanced Formula MOA® with the new oil.
When we Suggest a BG Engine Performance Service

Why You Need This BG Service
Today’s engines generate high heat and high pressure, conditions that cause the rapid accumulation of carbon deposits. These deposits are found on intake valves and fuel injectors and in combustion chambers.
For a fuel system cleaning service that’s easy to perform and results in noticeable drivability improvements, the BG Platinum Fuel System Service is our premium offer.
How we Perform a BG Fuel Service
BG Platinum® 44K® Fuel System Cleaner (the No. 1 fuel system cleaner in the U.S.) is added to the fuel tank.
Then, using the specialized Fuel Servicing Tool, a metered mist of BG Platinum Air Intake, Valve & Combustion Chamber Cleaner thoroughly coats and cleans internal engine surfaces in a way never before possible.
This process removes heavy carbon deposits from the backs of intake valves and combustion chambers. Then we consistently rev the engine during the service, which propels the cleaner across all cylinders for more complete cleaning.
